The E'kolith was this massive, tentacled creature that once ruled Earth, and let's just say it wasn’t exactly a benevolent leader. Over a million years before 2017, it showed up on Earth and ran the show in a pretty cruel way, demanding human sacrifices to serve its twisted purposes. Thankfully, one of the Masters of the Mystic Arts stepped up, defeated the beast, and banished it into space for good—or so we thought.

Fast forward to 2017, Stephen Strange had a vision of a tentacled creature making its way toward Earth. Naturally, Wong was concerned, but Strange reassured him—it wasn’t the E'kolith this time.
